Showbirds was created to support any amateur aerialists who are new to competitions or have limited performance experience. If you’ve ever thought “maybe one day...” this is your moment!

What is Showbirds?

An Amateur Competition
Designed for aerialists who are new to performing or competing. A supportive, low-pressure environment where growth is celebrated.

Open to All Studios
Showbirds welcomes amateur aerialists from any studio or training background. Anyone who meets the amateur eligibility criteria is encouraged to apply.

Age Divisions
Juniors – 6–17 years
Adults – 18+ years
(Open to all genders. Minimum age 6 at time of entries closing.) - •
Multiple Categories
Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Artistic Solo divisions, plus Duo/Group categories so you can enter at your level!

Professional Event Experience
Judges feedback emailed after the competition, medals for 1st–3rd place in each division, and a professional photographer capturing your performance.
- •
Safe & Supported Environment
3 rigging points available, in-house apparatus options, crash mats provided and required for all performers.

Please make sure you reply to your offer email with your acceptance.

Please send through a photo of yourself on apparatus (or just a nice photo of yourself) for the announcement post to: admin@bluebirdmovement.com.au

Make sure you sign and return the Performer Release and Indemnity Form.

Any props must be approved prior to the competition.
